
Makueni governor Kivutha Kibwana has refused Kenyans calls to go for the top seat in 2022 saying that he will retire from politics.
Kenyans on social media started an online campaign dabbed #apendeasipende have urged the governor whose development track record is remarkable to vie for the presidency to try and save Kenya.
Some have even offered to campaign for the governor for free in 2022. He has however said that he has no interest in the top seat but he said he will serve the people of Makueni till the last day of his second term.
