    Governor Sonko Wants Apology From Nation Media Over Publication On Hawkers

    The Nairobi county governor has asked the Nation Media group to apologize for alluding that he made  a directive that hawkers will be allowed to sell within the CBD at 2 p.m and published it on October 10.

    The governor sad that the directive was not official and was still under discussion.He asked the media house to apologize for publishing misleading information and that official communication would come from the office of the governor.

    The publication said that the agreement between the hawkers and the county government would roll out within the next month.

    Governor Sonko however maintained that the hawkers will only be allowed  to sell their goods  at the normal business have closed.
