Human Rights activist and Director at Center for Human Rights and Democracy Ken Wafula has passed on St. Lukes Office in Eldoret . He was suffering from High blood pressure and Diabetes.

His co director Kipkorir Ngetich confirmed his demise saying that he was well until Monday when they took him to hospital he passed on Wednesday morning while still receiving treatment.
“Wafula was okay on Saturday; on Monday however he said he was unwell. We brought him to hospital on Tuesday but unfortunately he passed on this morning,” said Ngetich
The 45 year old activist who was known for supporting the prosecution of William Ruto and Radio presenter Sang before retracting his statements an apologizing. He said that he found out that the witnesses to the cases had been coached and paid.
The father of three was a daunting human rights activist and fought for the victims of the 2007 post election violence.
He also vied for an elective seat as senator for Trans Nzoia county but lost.
