    Several state agencies, including the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC), Maseno University, the Ministry of Health, and KenGen, have announced job vacancies in various departments.

    SRC Seeks New CEO

    The Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) is recruiting a Commission Secretary/Chief Executive Officer (CEO). In a notice issued on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, the commission stated that applicants must be Kenyan citizens with a degree from a recognized university. Candidates should have at least ten years of experience in Human Resource Management, Financial Management, or Public Management and must meet the leadership and integrity requirements set out in Chapter Six of the Constitution.

    Postgraduate qualifications, membership in a relevant professional body, a certificate in leadership or strategic management lasting at least six weeks, and a corporate governance certification will be added advantages.

    The job description and other details are available on the commission’s website at www.src.go.ke. Interested candidates must submit applications, including salary details, certified copies of their national ID, academic and professional certificates, testimonials, and a detailed CV.

    The position is a five-year contract, renewable once based on performance. Applications should be clearly marked “Application for the position of Commission Secretary/Chief Executive Officer (CEO)” and sent via email to ceo2025@src.go.ke before April 24, 2025, at 5:00 PM.

    Maseno University Announces Job Openings

    Maseno University has advertised multiple vacancies across its departments, schools, directorates, and Kisumu Hotel. Applicants must submit ten (10) hard copies of their application, clearly indicating the reference number of the position applied for.

    Canvassing will result in automatic disqualification. Applications should be submitted before April 11, 2025, and addressed to:

    Ministry of Health Opens Over 50 Positions

    The Ministry of Health has announced over 50 job vacancies to support the implementation of the Safaricom Consortium for Provision of Healthcare Information Technology Digitalization for Universal Healthcare Project.

    In a notice issued on March 25, 2025, the ministry stated that it had established a Project Management Office to oversee the project’s rollout.

    “The Ministry is undertaking an elaborate process to digitize its health ecosystem—a key enabler in achieving Universal Health Coverage—through the Digital Health Agency (DHA). This body, established under Part II of the Digital Health Act of 2023, is mandated to develop, operationalize, and maintain a secure, comprehensive, and integrated health system,” the statement read.

    Available positions include a Project Manager, Technical Managers, a Project Support Manager, Software Engineers, System Infrastructure Engineers, Cyber Security Engineers, Network Operation Engineers, Health Informatics Officers, a Finance Officer, an Accountant, a Supplies and Logistics Officer, a Human Resource and Administration Officer, Assistant Engineers, an Accounts Assistant, Office Administrators, Drivers, and Office Assistants.

    Qualified applicants must submit their applications online through the recruitment portal accessible via the Ministry of Health website at www.health.go.ke/vacancies-internship. The deadline for applications is April 8, 2025, and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

    KenGen Announces Managerial Positions

    Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen) is looking to fill key managerial positions, including General Manager, Corporate Services; General Manager, Commercial Services; and General Manager, Supply Chain.

    Interested candidates should visit the KenGen website at www.kengen.co.ke/careers for full job descriptions and specifications.

    Applications, including detailed CVs and certificates, should be sent via email to kgnexecjobs@kengen.co.ke or delivered in hard copy to:
