Former Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero has rubbished claims by now Governor, Mike Sonko of rescuing Hawa Mohedina’s land from supposed land grabbers along Ngong Road on Friday.
Ms Mohedina, a widower was going to lose Sh. 1 billion worth of property, said Sonko.
But according to Kidero, the county only sold her property through a public auction to recover land rate arrears amounting to Sh. 3.96 million.

The County boss also added that county officers doctored records to show the owner had not paid rates.
He also linked Kidero’s cousin, Emmanuel Okello and his lawyer Tom Onyango to a land cartel, illegally acquiring land in the city.
