An engulfing fire has broken out in Kijiji slums, opposite Southlands estate in Lang’ata Constituency, Nairobi.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
Effort to put out the fire is ongoing. Fire engines have arrived at the scene.
This comes months after the slum residents suffered loss due to another fire that left 4 dead and rendered thousands homeless.
