Students who applied to join the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) for the September 2025 intake can now confirm their placement status after the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) released the results.

In a statement on Friday, KUCCPS advised applicants to log into the student portal to check the programme and campus they have been placed in.

“Placement results for the KMTC September 2025 intake are out. Applicants should log in to the KUCCPS student portal to check,” the statement read.

To confirm their placement, students should visit students.kuccps.net, and enter their KCSE index number, the year they sat the exam, and a password. The password can be either their KCPE index number or birth certificate number.

For those who may wish to change their placement, KUCCPS has opened an inter-institutional transfer window. Requests to transfer to another KMTC campus or switch programmes must be submitted before August 24, 2025.

KUCCPS also reminded successful applicants to carefully follow all admission instructions provided through the portal to ensure a smooth enrollment.

The application window for the September intake ran from June 23 to July 7, allowing students to apply for pre-service diploma and certificate courses offered at KMTC campuses nationwide.

Those interested in higher diploma, short courses, and upgrading programmes were directed to apply through the KMTC portal at admissions.kmtc.ac.ke.

Ahead of the application period, the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) in collaboration with KMTC introduced a financing option to support both new and continuing students. The initiative was aimed at helping learners cover tuition and related expenses.

HELB emphasized that all applicants must follow the application instructions closely to ensure their requests are successful.

KUCCPS had earlier announced that 26 programmes were available for the September intake, covering both diploma and certificate levels.
