Lawyer Harun Ndubi was arrested on Sunday night. The police claim that the lawyer was driving while under the influence of alcohol.
Activists have claimed that the lawyer was arrested and drugged and is being held in critical condition . Japheth Koome confirmed the incident saying that Harun Ndubi was arrested at the Jakaya Kikwete road while driving drunk.

The police say that he had parked his car in the middle of the road and was already sleeping.
Alamin Kimathi had none of what the police were saying ,he said that that the police ought to have taken the lawyer to hospital.
Don't believe the police spin. Haron has his drink spiked. He was found drugged in his car. Koome lashed onto this and ordered him arrested instead of being taken to hospital as his family and colleagues were pleasing with the Kileleshwa police to do.

The lawyer will face the charges in court this morning.
