
Four people lost their lives on Wednesday evening after a lorry rammed into houses at Tambaya in Mukurwe-ini, Nyeri.
Reports indicate that two children were killed in the incident while others were left homeless.
The lorry that was ferrying ballast lost control while going down a hill. The driver died while receiving treatment.

The grandfather of the children who were killed, David Karuga is demanding for compensation for his loss, damaged home and the funeral expenses from the company, Robem Aberdare Construction Company.
Mr Karuga says that he lost his wife in an accident involving a vehicle from the same construction firm.
