According to police, the two men left the entertainment joint at about 11pm and were walking home when they got into a fight approximately 50 metres from the club.

The injured man was rushed to Kerugoya Referral Hospital for treatment but succumbed while undergoing treatment.

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the stabbing and the whereabouts of the suspect are ongoing. ‎

The deceased, identified as Evans Muriithi, was found bleeding profusely at the entrance of rental houses in Kitharai-ini village, Kiaumbui Sub-location, Njukiini-ini South Location.
