A section of NASA leaders have accused their counterparts in from Kakamega of receiving hand outs from Deputy President William Ruto to boycott the Monday anti-IEBC protests.
Speaking on behalf of Amani National Congress (ANC), youth leader Jeff Mwenje has claimed that some legislators were bribed by the DP into giving the demonstrations a wide berth at his Sugoi home.
He has threatened to name and shame them for betraying the people.
”We are aware some NASA MPs collected handouts from Deputy President William Ruto’s Sugoi home to go slow on NASA campaigns. We will soon shame them for betraying the will of the voters,” Mwenje said.
But according to Raila Odinga, ‘the generals’ do not have to be present at the protests, that is what they ‘have the foot soldiers for.’
