Lawyer Miguna Miguna has added, US Ambassador to Kenya, Bob Godec on the list of ‘goods, companies and aliens’ that National Resistance Movement (NRM) supporters should boycott.

Miguna advised Godec and other foreign envoys to steer clear of Kenyan politics.

“To the Colonial Chief, Bob Godec and other ‘diplomatic’ tourists: Kenya isn’t a colony or a protectorate; it’s a sovereign country. Keep your heads down and your mouths shut as we apprehend our demagogues, despots and illegitimate election thieves,” he said on social media.

In a statement signed by 11 ambassadors and high commissioner, including Godec, Raila Odinga was asked to recognize ‘Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto as the President and Deputy President of Kenya.’

They said that Odinga, ‘father of multiparty democracy,’ disregarded the constitution that he he fought for when he was sworn in as the ‘People’s President.’

But speaking in Lang’ata on Sunday, the former Prime Minister asked the envoys to ‘leave us alone’ adding that he will never recognize the ‘illegitimate’ government.

“Their only interest is to do business at the behest of their countries. They are not interested in our democracy,” Odinga told the people.

Also on the boycott list is; Safaricom, Haco Tiger Ltd, Brookside Dairies and Bidco.
