Mombasa’s fiery hate preacher Sheikh Juma Ngao is abusing the rights of a poor Mombasa family after allegedly abusing own daughter and then feigning kidnap. The missing daughter of Sheikh Ngao confessed to fellow school mates at Bin Noor that hr father has been making sexual advances at her and when she complains, she gets beaten by her step-mother who is now married to Sheikh Ngao after Ngao divorced her mother.
Sheikh Ngao linked Mohammed Said Mohammed, form 3 student, with the “kidnap” of his young school mate after finding the name of the boy in the phone frequently used by the missing girl, Asmaa Juma Ngao. The phone belongs to Ngao’s maid. After linking the poor Said Mohamed with the disappearance of the girl, Ngao started using the DCIO of Dog Section Police Station, one Mr Kioko, to prosecute and torture the young boy.
Sheikh Juma Ngao promised to discipline the boy’s family after the her mother refused to appear at the Chief’s camp to listen to Ngao over the disappearance of his daughter. But the funny development which makes the alleged “kidnap” look faked is that despite Ngao’s wide network in the media and the police, he has not announced the “diappearance” anywhere apart from use the corrupt Mombasa policemen to harass the poor family.
The boy was arrested on 27th July but presented to court only on 4th August, having spent all the Idd-Ul-Fitr holiday in police cells.
Sheikh Juma Ngao is reported to have divorced the girl’s mother because of constant abuse she was subjected to and which is now being meted on the daughter.
