Kenyans on twitter reacted after leader of Senate Majority Kipchumba Murkomen posted a picture on twitter with the referee Nestor Pitana of the Final between France and Croatia.
In the tweet he said that the referee had agreed to come to Kenya to officiate a Charity match.

However Kenyans who have been angered by the fact that the legislators traveled to watch the world cup at tax payers expense. The legislators said they had gone to ‘benchmark’ to see how such events are run

Kenyans had taken offense after the National assembly decided to take 20 legislators to benchmark at the world cup in Russia and come up with a report to improve the sport in Kenya.
Kenyans felt it was a waste of the tax payers money to take legislators. Some claimed that legislators traveled to Rio, Brazil during the Olympics and the report that they made has never been tabled.
