The National Super Alliance (NASA) will in the coming week protest against President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election.
Kenyatta was declared the duly elected President by the IEBC chairman, Wafula Chebukati on Monday, 30 October in what he said was a ‘free, fair and credible exercise.’
The head of state garnered 98 per cent of the valid votes which was 7.4 million votes.

But according to NASA leader, Raila Odinga, who boycotted the ‘sham’ election, only 3 million votes were cast. He said that the poll results were pre-determined.
Odinga formed a Resistance Movement on the elections eve and has called for the boycott of Safaricom, Bidco and Brookside.
The companies, he says support the Jubilee government and only exploit the Kenyan people.
The President has however asked the opposition to explore all legal means within the constitution to express their opinions.
Kenyatta has declined to dialogue with the opposition leader but has called for the people to co-exist peaceful as has been in the past.
