The famous Natives sports bar and grill located along Thika Road has been demolished after a land row between the management and the land owner.
Trouble started six month ago when the land owner allegedly refused to renew the lease for the famous chill spot. The directors were trying to get a new contract with the landowner to allow for expansion.
The employees however alleged that the land owner had other plans to sell the land to a prominent politician.
The directors have however promised the employees that they plan to rebrand and reopen at a new location. The demolition has rendered over 40 employees jobless with most clinging on the promise by the directors to rebrand.
Sources disclosed to Kenyans that the sports bar would be replaced by a petrol station. Last year the famous simmers club was brought to the ground over a row between the management and the property owners.
