The National Drought Management Authority (NDMA) has advertised the position of Secretary/Chief Executive Officer and Secretary to the Board, inviting qualified candidates to apply.
In a notice issued on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, the authority said its Board was seeking to recruit a competent individual to oversee its day-to-day operations and provide leadership in implementing its mandate.
“The Board of the National Drought Management Authority (NDMA) is seeking to recruit a competent individual to fill the position of Chief Executive Officer and Secretary to the Board who shall bear the responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Authority,” the notice stated.
NDMA directed interested candidates to submit both online and physical applications.
The authority set Monday, November 23, 2026, at 5pm as the deadline for receiving applications.
It further advised prospective applicants to visit its official website for detailed information about the position, including the requirements and application procedure.
The successful candidate will succeed Lt Col (Rtd) Hared Hassan Ada, who was appointed Chief Executive Officer on February 14, 2022.
