Gor Mahia Organizing Secretary Judith “Nyangi” Anyango has said that “I’m not shaken” by threats to sue for defamation by the club’s chairman Ambrose Rachier.
Rachier demanded that Nyangi admits liability and publish a retraction and apology in the Nairobian Newspaper for alleging that he is corrupt.
Nyangi was served with a demand latter Tuesday and had 24 hours to act failure to which Rachier was to take legal action.
But in a Facebook comment, unapologetic Nyangi said “I’m not shaken.”
Nyangi, who also serves as a board member of the Nairobi County sports department was extensively quoted in an article in the Nairobian, alleging that Rachier illegally benefited from Godfrey Walusimbi’s recent move to Kaizer Chiefs of South Africa.
“Some people are in serious business at Gor Mahia. The money was reversed (to South Africa) but an account of a senior official was credited with three million because he’s Walusimbi’s agent.
Walusimbi’s agent is Rachier.

How can an agent receive money before the club?” Nyangi was quoted by the Nairobian.
The allegations did not go down well with Rachier, who has maintained that Gor are yet to receive the transfer money from Chiefs.
He felt “greatly aggrieved” by the claims prompting him to instruct his lawyers to swing into action.
