Parents of students at Moi Girls are not a happy lot after the schools administration sent the new demands.
According to a section of the parents, the school is demanding that the parents buy new uniform for the victims who lost everything in the inferno while the school has been fundraising while promising to cater for the same.

The uniforms which are supposed to be paid for at the school’s appointed outfitters totals to Ksh 26,000 per child while shopping costs another 20,000. The school quantified the amount required to buy uniforms for whole the students at ksh 6.7million.
Airtel has also boosted its donation now to Ksh 2million in total.

The school has already raised more than Ksh 40million from various donors including the President and his Deputy who donated Ksh 10million, Sonko 7million which included Ksh 5m from the county and Ksh 2million from his own pocket.
A parent named Kingston Mwangi complained that he doesn’t have the money now when the school has raised enough money while some parents are still grappling with medical bills too.
