President Uhuru Kenyatta is in China for an official visit. But it seems that the head of state left his social media team in Kenya. His Facebook posts on a day when he was supposed to be arriving in China show that he was somewhere in Nairobi.

Calling President Uhuru’s social media director, Itumbi, his phone rings like he is around but he doesn’t pick. Others who are close to State House have indicated that President Uhuru never travels with his social media team but they are always updated by the media team travelling with the President.

So they receive releases, pics and videos like anybody else then they post the same on Social Media accounts.

President Uhuru is said to only be very fond of his Twitter page. I wonder why he couldn’t travel with his social media team.
