The Public Service Commission (PSC) has invited members of the public and stakeholders to submit views on the Draft Revised Human Resource Development Policy for the Public Service.
In a notice issued on Tuesday, the commission said it had begun reviewing the existing Human Resource Development Policy to ensure it reflects changes in human resource management and development in the public sector.
“The main objective of the review is to ensure that the policy is aligned to the changes that have occurred in human resource management and development in the public sector,” PSC said.
The commission said the Draft Revised Human Resource Development Policy is now available for public and stakeholder participation.
Interested parties have been encouraged to study the draft policy and submit their comments and recommendations to help the commission finalise the document.
The draft policy is available on the PSC website.
The commission said submissions can be made electronically in MS Word format through email or in hard copy.
Soft-copy submissions should be sent to hodhrmd@publicservice.go.ke, while signed hard-copy submissions should be delivered to the office of the Secretary/CEO on the fourth floor of Commission House.
All submissions must be received by August 21, 2026.
The review is expected to help ensure that the human resource development framework remains responsive to emerging changes and supports effective management and development of public servants.
