SONY is said to be in plans to launch 2 Android powered tablets. The two tablets are codenamed S1 and S2 and are expected to go on sale sometimes before the end of this year. Sony says that the tablets would come in a conventional 9.4 inch touchscreen and dual 5.5 inch displays form factors.

The tablets would be integrated into the Playstation Network and will run on the Android Honeycomb OS. Sony says that it will add several of its own features like the ability to transmit video and music to TVs and stereos using the DLNA wireless streaming standard. The tablets will surprisingly come under the Sony and not the Sony Ericsson brand.
