    State House announces auction of vehicles, car wash machine and other unserviceable items

    The Executive Office of the President, State House, has announced the sale of various unserviceable items through a public auction scheduled for June 23, 2026.

    In a notice, State House said the auction will take place at 10:00 a.m. at the Department of Roads in Ruiru.

    “The Executive Office of the President – State House intends to sell by public auction unserviceable motor vehicles, scrap metal, assorted old tyres, assorted TVs, old motor vehicle batteries, a car wash machine, Toyota gear boxes, halogen security lights and assorted broken furniture among other items,” the notice reads.

    Prospective bidders will be required to pay a refundable deposit of Sh50,000 in cash at the cash office of the Executive Office of the President–State House in Nairobi during normal working hours.

    Interested bidders have been advised to obtain further details by visiting www.tenders.go.ke and www.president.go.ke, where they can download the catalogue containing information on the venue, items for auction, conditions of sale, and viewing dates.

    State House has appointed Astorion Auctioneers to conduct the exercise.
