Taita Taveta University has announced 23 job openings in various departments as part of its effort to strengthen service delivery and academic excellence.
In a public notice issued on Tuesday, April 29, 2024, the university invited applications from qualified and experienced individuals to fill administrative and academic positions.
“To further enhance our capacity in the delivery of high-quality education, training, research, innovation and community outreach, the university is seeking to recruit suitably qualified and experienced individuals,” the notice stated.
The university is looking to hire four chief technologists in different fields under the School of Science and Informatics. Two positions are available in the Student Welfare Department, while the University Health Unit is seeking to fill two vacancies. The Department of Information and Communication Technology has advertised three job openings.
Additionally, there are two vacancies for administrative assistants. The School of Science and Informatics is also recruiting associate professors and senior lecturers, with four positions up for grabs.
The School of Agriculture, Earth and Environmental Sciences is looking to hire two lecturers, while the School of Education is offering four lecturer positions.
The Terms of Service for the positions shall be on Permanent and Pensionable Terms. Successful candidates will be entitled to applicable allowances as approved by the University Council.
