More than 14 people have been confirmed dead in a grisly road accident in Kamukuywa bridge along Kitale-Webuye Road in Bungoma County.

Eye witnesses say the accident occurred around 8pm and it involved a matatu, several private cars, lorries and a cane tractor.

“There are numerous bodies all over. This is the exact spot where my brother was involved in another accident. It is a black spot. Needs speed bumps like yesterday,” said BBC’s Odeo Sirari.

The Kamukuywa bridge seems to be a black spot as it is claiming more and more lives each month.
