    KCB Bank receives seven awards during the think business banking awards

    KCB Group was on Monday awarded the Best Bank in Mobile Banking award during the Think Business Banking Awards. The bank was recognized for its outstanding efforts to incorporate the latest financial technological advancements to keep up with emerging customer behavior trends.

    The KCB app, that was launched in 2016 saw the introduction of seamless mobile banking transactions that completely got rid of queues in the bank.

    KCB Bank was also awarded the Best Bank in product marketing after its investment in the youth proposition and the subsequent reception and success it has received with its 2jiajiri initiative. 2jiajiri is a Sh50 billion KCB initiative set to run over the next five years aimed at imparting skills, attitudes and creating jobs that will stimulate national economy and wealth creation among new or young entrepreneurs in all sectors of the economy.

    The bank was 1st runners up in: Best Bank in SME banking, Best Bank in integrated digital marketing, and sustainable corporate social responsibility, Best Bank in Mortgage Finance and Best Bank in Micro Finance.

    “It is a distinct honor to receive seven esteemed Awards within the financial sector. These achievements have fully manifested our continuous commitment to strive for excellence in exceptional customer services and receive social recognition and identitys,” said KCB Group Head of Corporate and Regulatory Affairs, Judith Sidi Odhiambo.
