    Career

Dalot joined FC Porto’s youth academy in 2008 at the age of nine.

He progressed through the ranks and made his senior debut with Porto B in 2017, followed by first-team appearances in the Primeira Liga and Taça de Portugal during the 2017–18 season, contributing to Porto’s league title win.

In June 2018, Manchester United signed him for around €22 million (£19 million), with José Mourinho hailing him as one of Europe’s top young right-backs.

Early seasons at United were hampered by injuries and competition from Aaron Wan-Bissaka, leading to a successful loan spell at AC Milan in 2020–21, where he impressed with regular starts and versatility.

Upon returning, Dalot gradually established himself, excelling under Erik ten Hag and later managers with consistent performances on both flanks.

He has featured prominently in cup successes and reached significant milestones, including over 200 appearances for the club by 2025–26.

He wears the number 2 shirt and remains a key squad member for Manchester United and Portugal.

    Accolades

Dalot has collected several honors throughout his career.

At club level with Manchester United, he won the FA Cup (2023–24), EFL Cup (2022–23), and reached the UEFA Europa League final in 2024–25.

With Porto, he secured the Primeira Liga title in 2017–18.

Internationally with Portugal, he won the UEFA Nations League in 2024–25 and the UEFA European Under-17 Championship in 2016.

He was named Manchester United’s Players’ Player of the Year for the 2023–24 season and has earned recognition in Portugal’s senior squad, including appearances at major tournaments like the World Cup and Euros.
