Emotions Flare As CS Achesa, MP Sam Atandi Get Into Heated Argument Over Raila

There was drama at the Kisumu International Airport after Sports CS Rashid Achesa and Alego Usonga MP Sam Atandi had an altercation.

Reports indicate that the ODM MP was unhappy with the CS’s previous remarks on Raila Odinga and decide to confront him for answers.The MP said that the CS answered him by shouting and hauling insults at him.

Security officers had to intervene as the altercation nearly resulted into blows.

Sam Atandi asked the sports CS why he was disrespectful to Raila who picked him from the streets and made him an ODM youth leader.

CS Rashid Achesa confirmed reports that there was an altercation, He said that the MP confronted him about his remarks and he responded by saying ‘Who is Raila? Raila is a nobody and am a cabinet secretary.”

Amani National Congress nominated MP was at the scene a and confirmed that it was a polite talk between the two but the CS got agitated but he told him to consider his position and he calmed down.

Rashid Achesa had earlier said that Raila should keep his name out of his mouth as he is not his equal.
