AFC Leopards are reportedly courting former Rayon Sports goalkeeper Ndayishimiye “Bakame” Eric.

The 12-time Kenyan champions are beefing up the squad ahead of the new and goalkeeping is one area they want to strengthen.

The Rwandan international is a free agent after leaving Rayon Sports acrimoniously in June this year.

Eric’s contract was terminated after coach Ivan Minneart accused him of sabotage.

He reportedly conceded two suspicious goals in a league match to get the Belgian manager, who was then under pressure to perform, fired.

Ivan who left the club around the same time said he fell out with the player because he (Eric) wanted him to use black magic (Juju) to win matches.

Leopards did not have a stable goalkeeper last season with youngster Ezekiel Owade and Jairus Adira being deployed between the sticks.
