The Sports Disputes Tribunal (SDT) has been accused of playing politics to gain relevance through football rulings. The Coast football supremo Gabriel Mghendi said the tribunal was using the negative judgment against FKF to gain visibility. Mghendi wondered how most of the prayers by the federation were granted and then make one final ruling which erases all the gains made in the rulings. English football will be suspended until at least 30 April because of the continued spread of coronavirus. All games in England’s Premier League, EFL, Women’s Super League and Women’s Championship, and all fixtures in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, are currently postponed. The Sports Disputes Tribunal (SDT) ruling has put the country in a spin and a state of confusion as there is no clear-cut judgment that was delivered. The SDT chairman John Ohaga in giving the ruling goofed and made contradictory declarations. The SDT ruled that a Normalisation Committee be formed to pave way for the FKF elections. Former Manchester United and England defender Gary Neville is to open his hotels free of charge to health workers to help with the coronavirus crisis. Neville’s two Manchester hotels will be closed to the public, freeing 176 beds for NHS and other medical staff. Sports Despute Tribunal (SDT) has for the second time annulled Football Kenya Federation (FKF) elections. Judge John Ohaga dismissed the polls on Tuesday over eligibility rules which he struck out for being limiting and anti-competition. The repeat polls were to culminate in elective Special General Meeting on March 26, 2020 where Nick Mwendwa was to be elected president unopposed for another four-year term. Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has tested positive for Coronavirus, but “is doing well”, the club has announced.
