Treasury has approved Sh810 million for salaries of Postal Corporation staff who were yet to receive their dues since March. Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS) has blamed the nurses strike for incident during which a mother gave birth outside Pumwani Hospital. The incident which took place on September 13 happened two days after nurses went on a “go-slow”. In the last 24 hours, Kenya has confirmed 105 new cases of Covid-19, bringing the country’s total caseload to 36,829. In a statement, Health CS Mutahi Kagwe said that the infections were from a 2,868 sample size. The cumulative tests now stand at 514,482.
