County operations will stall starting Thursday, Council of Governors (CoG) chairman Wycliffe Oparanya has said. In a statement, the Kakamega governor said that health facilities will not admit any new patients from tomorrow. “They will only provide minimal outpatient services,” he said. Tanzania has lifted a ban disallowing Kenyan airlines into the country effective immediately. This was after Kenya added the East African country to the list of countries whose citizens were exempted from the 14 day mandatory quarantine period. The country joined 146 other countries on Tuesday after the list was reviewed. In the last 24 hours, Kenya has recorded 96 Covid-19 cases from 3,270 samples, bringing the total number of positive cases to 36,301. Of the new cases, all are Kenyans except 4 who are foreigners.
