The number of coronavirus infections has shot to 2,340 after 124 people tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours, Health CS Mutahi Kagwe has said. This was after testing a 2,640 sample size. In terms of gender, 100 are male and 24 females. The Anti-Counterfeit Authority (ACA) together with the multi-agency enforcement team on counterfeit goods on Wednesday destroyed counterfeit goods worth Sh27 million at Athi River. Three Kenya Power employees in Mombasa have tested positive for the coronavirus, CEO Bernard Ngugi said. The scheduled outage was supposed to occur between 8 and 9 am until 4 and 5 pm.
