Sudan’s Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok is safe after surviving an attempted assassination in the state’s capital, Khartoum, state media reports. DCI detectives have launched a manhunt for Agribusiness company Goldenscape Greenhouses managing director Peter Wangai. Wangai has gone under following reports that he swindled investors billions of shillings through the project. On Friday, detectives raided his Karen, Lower Kabete and Kimathi Street offices. The remains of sergeant Kipyegon Kenei have arrived in Nakuru county for the final burial rites. The deceased’s body was received by his colleagues at Umash Funeral Home a few minutes to 1 pm on Friday. His friends and family were given a moment to view his body. According to the DCI, the car is registered to a Mazda owned by Irene Mueni. Ms Mueni has been asked by the DCI to present herself and aid in investigations.
