NGO Board’s Executive Director, Fazul Mahamed has on Tuesday asked the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to speedily arrest members and directors of African Centre For Open Governance (AFRICOG). The NGO board on Monday de-registered the Kenya Human Rights Commission (KHRC) over misappropriation of funds. According to the board’s Executive Director, Fazul Mahamed the organization continues to hold 4 illegal accounts: 2 at the CBA and two others at the NIC Bank. Orenge Nyabicha, an IEBC presiding officer committed suicide over the weekend at his home in Quarry, Pipeline. Nyabicha who is a former employee of the Standard, arrived home from his polling centre in Imara Daima and according to a relative, he appeared disturbed.
