A middle aged man on Sunday evening brought business to a standstill in Nairobi’s CBD after he hanged himself on a tree along the busy Moi Avenue.
Some business owners along the said street said that the deceased was a frequent passer by especially around the Tom Mboya street.
One Facebook user, Rosanna Mueni said she was disappointed in the manner that passers by reacted and wonered why nobody stopped him from taking his life.

“I thought I had my worst afternoon until now I have just seen someone hang himself in the CBD (a very busy area) just opposite Highlands Platinum and people are busy taking pictures instead of checking if he is dead or alive they can help by doing first aid.”
The deceased did not leave behind a suicide note.
