    Security Beefed Up Ahead Of Raila Odinga’s Big Announcement

    Security has been beefed up ahead of Raila Odinga’s big announcement on Tuesday.

    Odinga who lost the presidential elections to the incumbent, Uhuru Kenyatta for a second time running will be letting Kenyans know on his next course of action.

    Security officers have been deployed in areas where violence erupted after Uhuru’s win including: Mathare, Kisumu and Kibera.

    The President on Monday asked Kenyans dissatisfied by the presidential outcome to protest in peace.

    Odinga had on Sunday asked his supporters to boycott work on Monday, a directive that Kenyans ignored.

    Normalcy has returned in most areas.
