Tourism Cabinet Secretary Najib Balala has shown Kenyans raw arrogance when asked to resign for mishandling the relocation of the 11 rhinos which ended up dying. According to Najib Balala, it’s only President Uhuru whom he listens to and not any other Kenyan. The Cabinet Secretary made it clear that he doesn’t listen to any other leader or normal citizen except the President, ignoring the fact that he and the President are employees of the civilians he hold in low esteem. Asked to apologise over the suspension of the KWS officers, Balala insisted that he would not and he owed…
Government spokesman Eric Kiraithe is not relenting in his war on Kenyans whom he believes doesn’t deserve a hearing on the allegations of racism and blatant abuse of employees. Sounding more like a completely ignorant and unaware of the critical issues, Eric Kiraithe’s letter to the editor in today’s Daily Nation points more to inadequacies in him and not in Kenyans. First, the former police spokesman blindly calls DN’s Kipchumba Some student journalists while informing him that “civil servants do not derive their value from momentary public applause or euphoria.” According to Eric Kiraithe, his role is to draw public…

Jamii Telecoms (JTL) owner Joshua Chepkwony has come out strongly to support Safaricom’s dominance in the Kenyan telecoms market, accusing the proponents of break up of the giant telco as being for the punishment of success. • Telecom Competition Market Study in 2016 is yet to be implemented. • The report recommends various ways to regulate the telecom sector in mobile money, mobile communications, termination rates, call tariffs, and tower-sharing. The story carried in some of the dailies, and on major television stations suggested that Airtel is gaining…

In June 2017, one of Sportpesa shareholders called Paul Wanderi Ndung’u decided…
