The First Lady said autism and other developmental disorders require to be addressed urgently. A group of National Police Reservists shot and killed a lioness that had attacked herders in Kimanjo area, Laikipia County. The lioness attacked and injured a man as he tried to stop a pride of lions from killing his goats. On March 31, 2025, three children were grazing goats in the area when they spotted four lions. A woman is fighting for her life in hospital after she swallowed a poisonous concoction in Hazina estate, Nairobi. This was after she had also forced her son to swallow the same. The son aged five died, police said. Police said the woman aged 23 used a concoction from beauty products to kill the son. She then swallowed the same before the neighbours found her struggling in the house. They were both rushed to Balozi Hospital, where the child was pronounced dead on arrival. A man was stabbed and killed in an incident following an argument at an apartment in Wajir Town. The body of Cyrus Munene Mboroki, 30 was found in his rental house long after the incident on March 31, police said. The body had stab wounds in the stomach and chest, police said. A United Nations aircraft made an emergency landing at Aden Adde Airport in Mogadishu on Tuesday afternoon April 1 following a mechanical malfunction involving its front landing gear.
