Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Migos has ordered all headteachers to release certificates to those who completed their exams. He termed the withholding of the documents illegal and unacceptable. “The law does not allow anyone to withhold certificates; they should be given unconditionally,” Migos said. A man was stabbed and killed in a confrontation prompted by an attempted robbery in Kayole area, Nairobi. Another man was stabbed and injured in the Sunday night drama in Muthaiga Dumpsite area, police and witnesses said. A night guard was killed during a robbery incident at a wines and spirits shop in the Joska area, Machakos County.
