Several roads were closed in Nairobi for the third edition of the Nairobi City Marathon on Sunday, September 8. This ushered traffic chaos as the affected roads are key links in the city. A manhunt was launched in Kentucky after a number of people were shot along a highway near the city of London on Saturday. The incident began at about 18:00 local time (22:00 GMT), when police responded to a report of vehicles being fired upon near Interstate 75. Aysenur Ezgi Eygi, who was born in Turkey, is reported to have been taking part in a protest against Jewish settlement expansion in the town of Beita near Nablus.
