A court has blocked the management of Kakamega High School from collecting Sh21 million from parents for damages caused by a recent dormitory fire. Kakamega Presiding Judge William Musyoka barred the school from collecting Ksh9,823 fine from each of the school’s 2,200 students pending the hearing and determination of a petition filed by a parent. A one-year-old baby girl stolen from her home in Funyula, Busia county, has finally been found and reunited with her biological mother. Three terror convicts, who escaped from Kamiti Maximum Security Prison on Monday, have been arrested. Kahawa Tungu has established that the prisoners, Musharaf Abdalla alias Alex Shikanda aged 34, Joseph Juma Odhiambo, 30, and Mohammed Ali Abikar, 35, were arrested in Kitui on Thursday. Kinoti was sentenced on Thursday by High Judge Anthony Mrima for disobeying orders that required him to return firearms confiscated from businessman Jimmy Wanjigi. Justice Mrima ordered Kinoti be jailed at Kamiti Maximum Security Prison. He is required to surrender to the Prison authorities within seven days. Two bomb attacks that hit Kampala, Uganda, on Tuesday morning were executed by three suicide bombers, police have said.
