The Kenya Red Cross has denied reports that patients were injured in an accident involving an ambulance operated by its affiliate Emergency Plus Ambulance Services. The accident occurred yesterday evening in Kabarnet, Baringo county, with the driver of the vehicle said to have been drunk. The family of the late Benga musician Albert Gacheru has suffered a double tragedy after losing another member three days after the death of the artiste. Gacheru’s brother Basilio Ngunjiri died on Thursday in Nyandarus after a short illness, his family has confirmed. The Law Society of Kenya (LSK) has moved to court seeking orders to quash a directive issued by the Ministry of Health banning private importation and distribution of Covid-19 vaccines.
