Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine suffered a broken nasal bone among other injuries in the hands of his torturers, Uganda opposition leader Kizza Besigye has revealed.

The resilient legislator was arrested after protests erupted in Arua where he and President Yoweri Museveni were campaigned for two different MP candidates.

It is during this time that Bobi Wine had his driver shot dead and he arrested and accused of being in possession of firearms and treason.

The lawmaker went missing for a couple of days which led to protests all over the world calling for his release.

When he first appeared in court, the singer turned politician could not stand on his own and writhed in pain.

He has since been released on bail and is undergoing treatment at Lubaga Hospital although reports indicated that he was set to be flown to London for treatment.

Hon Kyagulanyi affords to smile in spite of the pain he endures from injuries inflicted on him!

Ugandan MPs have also demanded for an apology from their Kenyan counterparts who they say abused Museveni when calling for Bobi Wine’s release.

They want action taken against the abusive Kenyan legislators or seek redress from President Uhuru Kenyatta.

In fact they said, Kenyans should respect the sovereignty of their country.

Hon Kyagulanyi's torturers broke his right nasal bone, among several other injuries that he showed us, when I &colleagues visited him at Lubaga Hospital.
Happily, his spirit is not broken at all! We keep him in our prayers as he recovers. We shall overcome!@Parliament_Ug@PGovUg pic.twitter.com/RBXkELTzm4
