Citizen TV Kiambu correspondent was on Saturday morning roughed up by security personnel while trying to gain entry into a wedding taking place in Kiambu.

Charles Gikunga sustained injuries while attempting to capture a wedding ceremony which turned chaotic after a married man was caught tying the knot with another woman.

According to the report, the groom, though is separated from his first wife still remains legally married to her since their divorce has not been finalized.

With the fear that her soon-to-be husband’s former lover would try to disrupt the ceremony, the bride is noted to have hired security guards to man the wedding venue.

The security guards, in turn, roughed up the journalists who tried to capture the morning drama.
