Lilumbi was quoted by Goal saying that the coach is free to leave as long as he returns sign on fee the club paid him.
“As far as we are concerned, he’s still our coach, but we cannot stop him from moving if he has a better offer elsewhere. He will just have to write to the club and return the signing on fee to the club,” said Lilumbi.
The statement did not go down well with the former Township Rollers coach and he let it out on him in a tweet.
“Who is Timothy Limumbi? I was there for a month and never met the person. Did he lead the club back to “glory” in the past 20 years? Because of these Limumbis, who can put so much stupidity in one sentence I left.
I build a reputation for too long to let anyone serve lies and present me as a cheat,” said Nikola.

The coach left the country last weekend barely a month after he was unveiled as Leopards coach after allegedly falling out with the club’s hierarchy.
The club nonetheless stated that they had given him time out to attend to family matters.
Several media reports, especially in South Africa, have linked him with a move to Free States Stars in the country.
