Diamond Platnumz has declared that he is ready to put aside his differences with Ali Kiba and do business together.
In a press conference, the Iyena singer said that he would love to see Alikiba perform at Wasafi festival, not as a show of his success but as a way of coming together to produce something greater than what is already there in Tanzania.
“Na kwa kudhihirisha kwamba hili ni Tamasha la Kwetu wote, Mpaka Kaka yangu @officialalikiba ningependa kumuona anashiriki katika @wasafifestival_. Lengo si kuonyesha nani mkubwa bali ni kuuleta Mziki wetu pamoja and huifanya dunia kuona kwamba , kumbe na sisi Tanzania tunaeza shikamana na kufanya vitu vikubwa” he said.
The festival is set to go on tour to different towns in Tanzania such as Mtwara, Iringa na Morogoro before it closes in Nairobi and Mombasa on 26 and 31 December, respectively.
The two artists have had the longest standing beef between artists in Tanzania, Alikiba is said to have felt disrespected by Diamond leading to their disagreement.
However, the artists manager, SK Salaam has always said that there is no beef between the two and that they are friends in private.
