Eric Frederick Trump was born on January 6, 1984, in New York City. He is the third child of former U.S. President Donald Trump and his former wife Ivana Trump.

After his parents divorced when he was eight years old, Eric grew close to his siblings, including Donald Trump Jr. and Ivanka.

He attended the The Hill School before enrolling at Georgetown University, where he studied finance and management. During school breaks he worked at construction sites connected to the family business.
