Migori governor Okoth Obado has blamed some members of parliament for his woes. He said that some of the legislators were going to villages telling people that he had killed.

“Some Member of Parliament are going to the villages and telling people that Obado has killed,” the Migori County boss lamented.

The governor asked the members of the National Security Committee to look into the welfare of the prisoners as they were forced to live in very inhumane circumstances.

He maintained his innocence stating that he should not be in incarceration as he was in Nairobi at the time of Sharon Otieno’s murder.

The Migori county boss said that no one has linked him directly to the murder and there was no sufficient evidence against him.

He will appear before Justice Lessit for a ruling on his bail application today
