Harambee Stars technical bench led by head coach Sebastien Migne have reportedly gone unpaid for two months now.

The government through the ministry of sports have not been able to meet the responsibility they took of paying salaries of Migne and his crew.

The Frenchman has however been able to deliver, beating Ghana 1-0 two weeks back to revive Kenya’s hopes of qualifying for the 2019 Afcon in Cameroon.

Meanwhile, the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) is reportedly broke and is struggling to function properly.

This could affect Harambee Stars preparations for next month’s back to back Afcon qualifiers against neighbors Ethiopia.

Close to Ksh15million is needed to facilitate the crucial preparations if Kenya is to break a 14-year-old jinx and return to the grandest stage of African football.

FKF lost Sportpesa sponsorship last year and have not been able to find a replacement; they since have been relying solely on FIFA funding which is not enough.
